Director of Bands
Mr. King has been the Director of Bands at Independence High School since 2022. Before joining the staff at Independence, Daniel was the associate band director at Lovejoy High School for nine years.
Mr. Brock has been the Assistant Band Director at Independence High School since 2021.
Mr. Seymour is in his first year as the percussion director at Independence. Prior to joining the staff at Independence he was an assistant band director and director of percussion at Granbury High School and Memorial High School.
Ms. Tucker has been the Colorguard Director at Independence High School since 2022. Prior to joining the staff at IHS, Ms. Tucker was guard director at Melissa High School for five years, and Sachse High School for four years.
Sam is in his first year as the Assistant Percussion Director for the Independence High School Cluster.
